Manchester, N.H.-based Catholic Medical Center and Cigna reached a new contract on Aug. 28.
The agreement ensures that the hospital remains an in-network provider for all of Cigna’s commercial health insurance products, according to an Aug. 28 news release from the New Hampshire Insurance Department.
The hospital would have gone out of network with the payer on Aug. 31 if the parties were unable to reach a new agreement.
Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA acquired the 330-bed regional health system Feb. 1.
