UnitedHealthcare’s specialty benefits CEO, Tom Wiffler, is departing from his role after more than 25 years with the company.
Since 2017, Mr. Wiffler led the insurer’s dental, vision, disability, life insurance, indemnity products, hearing, pet insurance, and stop loss businesses.
He first joined the company in 1999 and served in a variety of leadership roles, including as CEO of the Illinois business and COO of the company’s military benefits division.
