St. Louis-based Mercy and Humana have opened two joint primary care clinics for older adults.

The first two clinics in Springfield, Mo., and Nixa, Mo., opened in June, according to a June 12 news release.

The clinic sites will be in-network with most Medicare Advantage plans. Through the partnership with Humana, Mercy plans to expand its older adult-focused clinics to other markets the health system serves, including Arkansas and Oklahoma.

Each clinic will be able to care for up to 2,000 patients.

Humana’s CenterWell Senior Primary Care and Convica Senior Primary Care operate more than 340 clinics.
