Oklahoma’s Medicaid director departing role

Oklahoma Medicaid Director Traylor Rains is leaving the role at the end of January for a job with consulting firm Deloitte, StateImpact Oklahoma reported Jan. 17.

Mr. Rains has served as the state’s Medicaid director since April 2022. His predecessor, Melody Anthony, will serve as the interim director, according to the report. 

 Ms. Anthony previously served as the state’s Medicaid director and COO of the Oklahoma Health Care Authority from 2019 until she retired in 2022.
