Sanford, Bryan Health to launch joint Medicare Advantage plan: 3 notes

Sanford Health Plan and Lincoln, Neb.-based Bryan Health will launch a joint Medicare Advantage plan in 2026.

Sanford Health Plan is owned by Sioux Falls, S.D.-based Sanford Health. The plan will operate as a joint venture, with equal representation from Sanford Health and Bryan Health, according to a Dec. 17 news release. 

Here are three things to know: 

  1. The plan will be available in 20 counties in the Lincoln, Neb., area beginning in January 2026. 
  2. Sanford Health Plan will administer the plan, while Bryan Health will lead clinical services and the provider network, according to the news release. 
  3. Bryan Health operates five hospitals, outpatient clinics and a physician network.
