The new states are Indiana, Iowa, Nebraska and Wyoming, and the company is expanding counties in Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Illinois, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas and Wisconsin, a spokesperson told Becker’s on Oct. 3.
In total, UnitedHealthcare will be in over 1,250 counties across 30 states for 2025.
Centene is also expanding individual plans to 60 new counties in 2025 and will offer individual plans in Iowa for the first time.
