The new role expands Mr. Vitagliano’s position as senior vice president of provider network engagement, according to a June 20 Excellus news release.
In his new role, Mr. Vitagliano will take on additional responsibilities, including supporting and maintaining business, quality health, and sales in the Mohawk Valley and the North Country, the release said. Approximately 500 Excellus employees work in the Utica area.
