2 payers among the ‘most just’ companies

The Cigna Group and Elevance Health were ranked in the top 10 on Just Capital and CNBC’s ranking of the “most just” companies.

The 2024 rankings, published Feb. 5, rates the country’s 1,000 largest public companies on how they treat workers and customers, support communities, address environmental impacts and conduct corporate governance. The top 100 companies are named to the Just 100 list.

The Cigna Group was ranked No. 6 in Just Capital’s ranking, and Elevance Health was ranked No. 8. Cigna took the top spot in the healthcare industry for the second year in a row.

No. 105: Humana

No. 110: UnitedHealth Group 

No. 126: CVS Health 

No. 164: Centene
