UnitedHealthcare spokesperson Mary McElrath-Jones told The Frederick News-Post the health insurer seeks to hire 120 employees for customer service-related positions at its office in Frederick, Md., by December. Positions include care provider customer service representatives, customer service advocates and claims representatives.
Ms. McElrath-Jones said the insurer needs to add more customer service employees due to an increase in overall membership nationwide. UnitedHealth Group covers more than 860,000 members in Maryland.
