Mr. Guemple joins the company from UnitedHealthcare, where he served as regional vice president of key accounts for its West region, according to a Jan. 3 Regence news release. He also previously served as vice president of sales at Cigna Healthcare.
His first day as Utah market president is Jan. 8, the release said. Mr. Guemple’s role will include oversight of strategy and growth for the health plan and community involvement.
