Commonwealth Care Alliance names chief quality officer

Commonwealth Care Alliance has named Amy Helwig, MD, as chief quality officer.

According to a release shared with Becker’s Aug. 7, Dr. Helwig was most recently executive vice president of commercial health at RTI Health Advance, a consulting firm. 

She also previously served as chief quality officer and vice president of quality improvement and performance at UPMC Health Plan.
