Medica CEO stepping down

Medica’s President and CEO, John Naylor, is stepping down after leading the company for six years.

The newly created Office of the President, which consists of the company’s CFO, COO and SVP of Markets, will search for Mr. Naylor’s replacement and support the transition until Sept. 1, according to a July 6 news release.

Mr. Naylor joined the company in 2010 as SVP of commercial markets and became president and CEO in 2017.

Medica is a Minnetonka, Minn.-based payer that provides health coverage to 1.5 million members across 12 states.
