Health insurance ranks as the top deciding factor as Americans consider a career move, according to a survey from Talker Research on behalf of Oscar Health.

The survey, published Dec. 2, assessed 2,000 Americans’ opinions of employer health insurance. Read more on Talker Research’s methodology here.

Here are four things to know from the survey:

1. Fifty-three percent of those surveyed said having health insurance is their top priority as they move jobs, but 60% who have insurance through their work are not very satisfied.

2. Forty-four percent of people want access to an individual coverage health reimbursement arrangement, in which employers provide allowances for health plans.

3. Forty-one percent of workers said they “feel stuck” in their occupations, many times as a result of benefits limitations.

4. Forty-three percent said they put off the idea of working for themselves due to concerns regarding health benefits, but more than half would pursue self-employment if appropriate benefits were guaranteed.
