UCare has selected Navitus Health Solutions, a pharmacy benefit manager owned by St. Louis-based SSM Health and Costco, to administer pharmacy benefits to its more than 600,000 members across all lines of business, effective Jan. 1.
UCare said it chose Navitus because of its government programs' experience, nationwide pharmacy networks, quality programs and flexible support, according to a Sept. 28 news release.
Navitus operates an alternative PBM model more aligned with UCare, according to the payer.
