A sizeable number of Americans getting health insurance through the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act marketplaces don't fully understand their coverage, Drew Altman, president and CEO of the Kaiser Family Foundation, writes in The Wall Street Journal.

The number of low-income Americans who may qualify for health coverage as a result of Medicaid's expansion in the U.S. is estimated to be approximately 10.5 million according to an analysis by Families USA.

HHS has approved Pennsylvania's plan to use federal Medicaid expansion funding to launch Healthy Pennsylvania, a program that will promote affordable care and increase access to care for the uninsured, Gov. Tom Corbett (R) announced yesterday.
