New Brunswick, N.J.-based Saint Peter's University Hospital sued Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey to stop it from selling discounted insurance plans without giving Saint Peter's a chance to participate, according to NJ.com.

Standard & Poor's Rating Services Thursday warned the Affordable Care Act risk corridor program will continue to be significantly short on cash, which could be fatal for some insurance plans.

Twelve of the original 23 nonprofit health insurance co-ops formed under the Affordable Care Act have shut down since the beginning of 2014, according to The Washington Post.
