The stalled negotiations revolve around how much the Minnetonka, Minn.-based insurer should pay Northwest Health for healthcare services. While the system’s hospitals are still in-network with UnitedHealthcare, they could move out-of-network by Nov. 1 without an agreement.
Northwest Health and UnitedHealthcare told Northwest Arkansas Democrat Gazette negotiations are ongoing. Both companies blamed each other for the dispute.
