CarelonRx will launch SpecialtyRx Savings Navigator, designed to help employers manage specialty drug spending.
According to an April 22 news release shared with Becker's, the program will identify at-risk members and connect them with pharmacist-led support. The navigator will provide employers with disease-specific forecasts to help them predict future spending on pharmacy and recommendations for plan design.
CarelonRx is Elevance Health's pharmaceutical services arm. The company has added several specialty pharmacy acquisitions in recent years, including a planned acquisition of Kroger Health's specialty pharmacy business.
