Counterpart Health, a subsidiary of Clover Health, is leaning more on generative AI to scale value-based care, allowing clinicians to interact with patient data through a chat function, according to a Sept. 25 news release.

Counterpart Assistant, an AI-powered physician-enablement platform, will now deliver input from over 100 data sources through conversations. The tool can curate pre-visit summaries, synthesize information and suggest potential care routes.

The platform is now being rolled out to eligible providers.

“Physicians can be drowning in data yet starved for actionable insights,” said Counterpart Health Chief Medical Officer David Tsay, MD, PhD. “This latest evolution of Counterpart Assistant gives them back time and clarity by making the patient’s story instantly accessible so they can focus on delivering care.”

At the Becker's 5th Annual Fall Payer Issues Roundtable, taking place November 17–19 in Chicago, payer executives and healthcare leaders will come together to discuss value-based care, regulatory changes, cost management strategies and innovations shaping the future of payer-provider collaboration.
