ACA premiums expected to rise 3.6% next year

ACA premiums are expected to rise by an average of 3.6 percent in 2019, according to an analysis by Avalere and the Associated Press.

The analysis, reported in The Hill, examined 47 states where data was available and found the premium increases across the board will be much more stable than the 30 percent average increases in 2018.

In 11 states, premiums will  drop, while six states and Washington, D.C., will see premiums increase  10 percent to 18 percent.
