The online survey included responses from 905 U.S. adults ages 18 and over who worked at a company with at least two employees. The survey took place March 15 to March 16.
Here are three survey findings.
1. Thirty-five percent of millennials, or adults age 18 to 34, have turned down a position based on insurance coverage, compared to 27 percent of U.S. respondents overall.
2. Twenty-nine percent of millennials were more likely to seek long-term financial planning during the past year versus 19 percent of adults age 35 to 54.
3. Fifty-three percent of respondents said they lacked disability insurance because their employer didn’t offer it, while 32 percent said they lacked the coverage because it was too expensive.
