Dr. Samitt joins Myia after most recently serving as president and CEO of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota. He is currently managing director at his healthcare advisory and investment firm, ITO Advisors, according to a July 21 news release.
He was formerly chief clinical officer and president of Anthem’s diversified business group, president and CEO of HealthCare Partners and president and CEO of Madison, Wis.-based Dean Health System.
