Stephanie Lagos — chief of staff for First Lady of New Jersey Tammy Murphy and deputy chief of staff to Democratic Gov. Phil Murphy — plans to join Horizon Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Jersey’s board, according to a Dec. 22 New Jersey Legislature posting.
Ms. Lagos would replace Joseph Roberts Jr., a former state politician. Her term would last three years.
Ms. Lagos was previously a senior policy advisor for Mr. Murphy’s gubernatorial campaign, following her tenure as deputy chief of staff and legislative director for Assemblyman Gary Schaer.
