The news comes nearly a month after the insurer notified customers it was terminating its public health exchange plan with Ochsner, effective May 15.
In a joint statement released Friday, however, the companies said Ochsner facilities and physicians will continue to be in-network for all 3,000 patients enrolled in UnitedHealthcare’s Compass plan through January 2017.
The health insurance giant will stop offering all plans on Louisiana’s public health exchanges in January 2017.
