Ochsner Health Plan is now a member of the Alliance of Community Health Plans, which represents nonprofit, vertically-integrated health plans across 38 states and Washington, D.C.
Ochsner Health Plan, a part of New Orleans-based Ochsner Health, offers Medicare Advantage plans across Louisiana.
"We are excited to join ACHP, represent the needs of our members and showcase the value-based journey of Ochsner Health,” Jeff Fernandez, CEO of Ochsner Health Plan, said in a May 3 news release. "Our home state has very costly social determinants of health. We must continue providing high quality care at an affordable price for all Medicare-eligible citizens of Louisiana."
