For the month of June, health insurer Humana hired Mr. Strub to help improve the health of citizens in its headquarters, Louisville, Ky., with social media, according to Louisville Business First.
The incentive to hire him was spurred on by the Louisville Health Advisory Board, whose 40 members assist Humana in creating better strategies for improving healthcare.
Mr. Strub has worked with 10 Louisville-based organizations, and his efforts are aimed at utilizing media outlets — like Facebook, Twitter and Snapchat — for social good. He’s primarily helping Humana with its Bold Goals campaign, which is focused on improving the health of its communities 20 percent by 2020, according to the report.
