The award highlights leaders in international business, public service, entertainment and activism who have demonstrated a commitment to social change. As a healthcare executive, Mr. Broussard’s work has improved healthcare access for patients in oncology, assisted living, senior housing, home care and oral health, the foundation notes.
“[Mr.] Broussard has championed an integrated care delivery model that is expected to drive down patient costs, enhance treatment quality and improve outcomes,” according to the organization’s news release.
Past Ripple of Hope laureates include former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Archbishop Desmond Tutu and Apple CEO Tim Cook.
