Humana adds 10 Iora primary care practices to value-based network

Humana and Iora Health, a Boston-based network of primary care clinics, expanded their valued-based contract a fifth year, the companies said Sept. 12.

Under the expanded contract, Humana’s Medicare Advantage members will gain access to an additional 10 primary care practices in Arizona, Georgia and Washington.

Iora’s care model includes a care team that guides patients through their respective care journeys. Patients receive 24/7 telephone access to healthcare providers, same- or next-day appointments for acute appointments, and on-site labs, as well as online access to their medical records.
