In a partnership with Health First Health Plans in Rockledge, Fla., the hospital will start enrolling people Oct. 15 in its Medicare Advantage plans, called Florida Hospital Care Advantage, according to the report. The hospital also plans to host community outreach events and educational seminars about the health plans.

In August, Health First and Florida Hospital announced they are partnering to offer and expand health insurance across central Florida. The partnership follows a January announcement between the two organizations. The Volusia/Flagler division of Florida Hospital, based in Daytona Beach, will offer a health plan in lockstep with Health First Health Plans starting in January 2014.
