The partnership allows Canopy to use Zipari’s Customer Relationship Management service center software and billing and enrollment software. All of Canopy’s consumer-facing technology, including online shopping and provider and prescription portals, will be maintained by Zipari.

The partnership aims to minimize Canopy’s operational costs by contracting one vendor for all consumer-related technology.

“Canopy is going to market with a focus on millennials, requiring a much different approach to brand, marketing and customer service than traditional health plans,” said Zipari’s CEO Mark Nathan. “We are delighted to work with Canopy to ensure that communication between the customer and carrier is central to all of Canopy’s services.”
