Officials from Blue Cross Blue Shield, North Carolina’s largest health insurer, realized their error shortly there after when confused and frustrated customers began flooding call centers.
Whether costumers’ frustrations with the error or confusion surrounding the actual rates of the exchange plan will impact midterm elections remains to be seen, according to the report.
