Madison, Wis.-based Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield will extend its Medicaid plans for BadgerCare Plus, the state's Medicaid program, and Medicaid Supplemental Security Income to six counties.
Effective July 1, Anthem BCBS's Medicaid service network will include Dane, Florence, Marquette, Menominee, Polk and Taylor Counties.
Anthem BCBS is one of 18 insurers offering BadgerCare Plus benefits in the state.
