Detroit residents have average monthly health insurance costs that are $78 higher — or 57 percent more — than the average of the 25 biggest U.S. cities, according to a report from doxo, a web and mobile bill pay service.
The doxoINSIGHTS report examines aggregate payment data from more than 45,000 billers across 45 different service categories from 2.5 million-plus users.
Here are the 10 cities with the highest average monthly health insurance bills compared to the $136 average across the 25 largest cities:
